Is dabbing hazardous?
Smoking marijuana extracts, sometimes called “dabbing,” which is becoming more popular these days, has a lot of doctors anxious.
Marijuana extracts—the intense oils we get from the marijuana plant (sometimes known as “hash oil”)—are much stronger than the dried marijuana. The higher levels of THC draws people to marijuana extracts. On an average basis, standard marijuana has 12–13 percent THC content, but the standard marijuana extract has more than 50 percent THC content and some extracts have a THC percentage of 80% !
Some chemicals like THC are more concentrated in marijuana extracts than in standard marijuana, side effects of dabbing—like poor coordination and judgment—are probable to be more powerful than smoking regular trees. Since dabbing is now on fleek, unfortunately, there aren`t many studies on this yet.
